Working on advanced projects with no definitive direction was one of the coolest parts of my internship at Cascade Maverik Lacrosse. It's rare in any professional position to be told "just do what you want". Some of that time, I devoted to evolving tradition string methods in an attempt to remove variables from the process.

The images below are of a lacrosse head I strung with mesh I prototyped to remove the shooting strings. I thought with permanently fixed laminate, there would be no way for shooting strings to become too tight or too loose. An additional benefit of this application is that it offers a surface to brand a previously un-brandable product. The large area of color can be eye-catching or subtle according to brand guidelines and provides space for printing or stamping logos and instructions.
